In astronomy and celestial navigation, an ephemeris (plural: ephemerides) gives the trajectory of naturally occurring astronomical objects as well as artificial satellites in the sky, i.e., the position (and possibly velocity) over time.
Wouldn't it be great if you could look at any natal chart (yours or someone else's) and quickly see what the most important components of personality and general life experiences are? That's how it's done. First, you need a natal chart. Let's use yours as an example.
If you don't have it, you can use my simple and easy-to-use natal chart calculator here. Keep in mind that this calculator uses the actual size and location of the constellations known as sidereal astrology. Be aware that some of your signs are different, for more information on zodiac signs, check out this short article that explains it in detail.
Now we can begin. There are three main components of any astrological map: the houses, the signs, and the planets. The houses represent the heavens at the time of your birth.
More precisely, the ecliptic, that is the way the planets move in the sky. The houses form the skeleton of the map and are always in the same place for everyone. In a western map like the one we are using today, the far left portion of the chart represents the eastern horizon, also known as the rising or ascendant.
This is the beginning of the diagram, and the houses start here. Start with the 1st house moving counter-clockwise to the 12th. (Note that astrologers use different house systems.
So the ascendant could be somewhere in the 1st house, or you may notice that the houses are in others The system that we use today and that my calculator uses is called the same house system that divides the ecliptic into 12 equal segments starting from the ascendant. You can use any system you prefer.) Right across from that Ascendant is the descendant who, as you can imagine, is the western horizon or attitude.
The upper part of the diagram represents the highest part of the ecliptic in the sky, and the lower part, what is below the horizon or the invisible sky. What do these houses mean in the diagram? Because the houses represent the areas of heaven: In astrology the houses represent the areas of life. Starting with the first house, which represents all areas of our life that have to do with ourselves such as self-image, motivations, our goals, our physical body, our appearance, etc.
The second has to do with our values and so on. The houses represent what we could call “areas of life”. The next component of the natal chart are the signs the ecliptic were the signs of the zodiac at the time of your birth.
Which sign rose, which set? This is where individual interpretations can begin, as we now have two components of the diagram to compare. One can say that the signs the properties of heaven show at the time of your birth. An easy way to remember what they represent is to look at them as the characteristics of life.
From the directness of Aries to the receptivity of Pisces, the zodiac signs show the qualities that come through our life components t, the planets, represent the experiences in our life. These ephemeral bodies in heaven reflect our ephemeral experiences here on earth. As always, these experiences shape our personality.
In which house a planet is located shows us in which area these life experiences occur; whatsign what characteristics these experiences consist of. With regard to our personality, the houses show which areas of life are important areas for us; the signs which features stand out in our personality. It is easiest to think of planets as the experiences of life that shape our personalities.
Now let's see what your horoscope says about you. In general analysis of the natal chart, let us begin with the most basic elements first. In other words, the most basic elements of your personality and your overall life experiences.
There are four main components of the chart that show this. Your sun, moon, ascendant, and the ascendant ruler, also known as your chart ruler. Essentially, we're looking for the house and sign positions of these four components (with the exception of the ascendant, which only shows the sign, but we'll get to that later.
Let's start with your sun and moon. These two elements represent the most basic and essential, yin) and yang, elements of your self. The sun represents your outwardly focused, expressive and masculine side.
While the moon represents your inwardly focused, reflective, feminine side. Together, these planets form the majority of your inner and outer personality. Along with the types of persistent experiences that affect the sun and moon in your horoscope.
They are represented here by these symbols. Once you have identified both the house and sign position of your sun and the house and sign position of your moon, use these PDFs to find out what these basic elements of your inner and outer self are nd remember that the house placements show the areas of life that are important to you and important issues in your life. The sign shows the traits that result from your personality and your life experiences.
Your sun represents your outer self and the moon represents your inner self. Now let's take a look at your ascendant and chart ruler. These elements essentially represent how your life unfolds and what shapes your personality over time.
You are like your like sun and moon, with the exception of the life path and life events, which further shape your personality. You could think of this as what you will become, which strongly represents you and your life in the horoscope. Your ascendant represents the qualities that you are considered to be. develop result of your life experiences.
There is only one sign associated with it because it is always associated with the 1st house. Your map ruler, on the other hand, is essentially the planet that rules the sign of your Ascendantis. The house and sign position the chart ruler shows a more detailed look, not just at the traits you are developing, but also at the area of life.
First, let's identify your rising sign. Look up the properties of this character using the same PDF we used earlier. Remember, these are the qualities that will emerge from your general life experiences and that will make you who you will become.
These are very important qualities that you should develop in your life. Now let's identify your chart ruler. Q First, you need to know which planet your Ascendant's sign rules.
Use this PDF here to get a list of rulers for each of the zodiac signs. You may find that you have two, in which case you mark both planets as they will be equally important. Once you have identified your chart ruler, find its house and character placement, just like you did with the Sun and Moon.
Use the same PDFs we used before to identify which areas of life and traits shape your personality over time Chart Ruler essentially represents you in the horoscope and what is being developed. At this point in your analysis you have uncovered the four most basic elements of the natal chart. The analysis and understanding of these four components alone will contribute to a great understanding of your personality and your outstanding life experiences.
You can apply the same process to any person's diagram. For those of you who wish to take the analysis further, you should look at the key associations that make up between these four components and other planets in the natal chart. These are called aspects.
The aspects can either be found on the inside of the horoscope next to the horoscope or both. Here is a PDF with the importance of the various aspects for your further analysis. Next, you can look at the inner planets Mercury, Venus, and Mars.
Then the middle planets: Jupiter and Saturn. Followed by the outer planets Uranus and Neptune. And the comets: Chiron and Pluto.
Analysis of their house and character placements. Note that the personality traits become deeper and less obvious as you move further to the more distant planets. Similar to an onion where the outer layer of our personality and experience is the four main components that we covered in this article.
Followed by the inner planets, the center, then the outer ones in the center of the onion. (As a side note, pay special attention to planets in the 1st house as they tend to come through strong in personality and experience.) Here is a list of the major planets showing what elements of self and experience are in life they represent.
With continued practice, focusing primarily on the four main components of the natal chart described in this article, you will be able to interpret a natal chart quickly, in a matter of minutes.
Chariklo is currently in Capricorn, already within orb of conjunct Pluto since 2018. Saturn and Pluto made a single conjunction on 12.1. 2020 at 22.46 degrees. Chariklo is conjunct Saturn, once only, on 16.2.
Welcome to Space News from ElectricUniverse, presented by The Thunderbolts Project on Thunderbolts.info. In 2014, astronomers puzzled over the unprecedented discovery of an asteroid with its own ring system.
The asteroid Chariklo, which has a diameter of 250 kilometers and orbits between Saturn and Uranus, has two rings that are said to be similar in nature to those of Saturn. The head of a 2014 study said of the discovery, “We weren't looking for a ring and didn't think little bodies like Chariklo even had them, so the discovery - and the amazing amount of detail we saw in the system - came as a complete surprise! ' Today, scientists using computer simulations suggest that only two possibilities are responsible for the continued existence of Chariklo's confusing rings. They say either the particles that make up the rings are much smaller than the models predicted, or that a hypothetical shepherd's satellite must be gravitationally stabilizing rings around the asteroid.
In fact, the scientists are surprised that the rings have not yet disintegrated, as their simulations suggest a much shorter lifespan. A Phys.org report on the team's research states, “... the density of the ring particles must be less than half the density of Chariklo itself.
Their results also showed that a stripe pattern known as a 'self-gravity wave' 'forms on the inner ring due to interactions between the particles, and this self-gravitational acceleration accelerates the breakup of the ring. The team recalculated the expected lifespan of Chariklo's rings based on their results and found that it was only 1 to 100 years, much shorter than previous estimates. It's so short it's surprising that the ring is still there. ' Chariklo is a member of a family of asteroids found between the orbits of Saturn and Uranus called the centaurs.
In the past, the centaurs have occasionally surprised scientists with their comet-like behavior and caused some confusion about their classification as asteroids or comets. The theory of the electrical universe has always stated that the only real difference between comets and asteroids are their respective orbits, and both can discharge electrically as they move through areas of changing electrical potential. This theory, as proposed by those in charge of the Thunderbolts project, also states that comets, asteroids, and meteoroids have recently been electrically torn from planetary surfaces.
The late astronomer Tom Van Flandern proposed his own theory of the birth of comets and asteroids, which suggested that they are the remains of an exploded planet. VanFlandern argued that the characteristics of the orbits of asteroids, particularly between Mars and Jupiter in the asteroid belt, show all the characteristics of material recently thrown into space. Van Flandern made this egregious prediction that asteroids would tend to have natural satellites.
It has been rejected by astronomers almost everywhere. However, in recent years it has been found that many asteroids have their own moons. In the case of Chariklo, physicist Wal Thornhill agreed with the notion that the asteroid likely has pastoral satellites that maintain the rings.
Astronomers have believed that the material that makes up the rings was removed from the asteroid by a violent collision. But the type of particulate matter in the rings is not what you would expect from a mechanical collision. In fact, as reported in this series, in recent years scientists have increasingly recognized electrostatic dust turbulence events on both comets and asteroids.
Even so, the behavior of some asteroids on comets remains a great mystery to astronomers. In 2013, the asteroid P / 2013 P5 surprised investigators when it suddenly sprouted six comet-like tails, forcing scientists to eventually reclassify the asteroid as the main belt comet. Researchers suggested that the force of sunlight hitting the asteroid may have caused a mysterious and sudden increase in its rate of rotation, causing dust material to be thrown into space. like shapes. ' However, both the chipping of the asteroid's dust and its inclusion in cometary tails could more easily be explained as electrical discharge phenomena.
Chariklo's ring system helped reinforce the idea that the dust material in the rings could eventually merge into a tiny moon. But the idea that colliding particles accrete into bodies of planetary size has never worked. In fact, experiments on Earth suggest that collisions tend to decompose material that is only inches thick.
Indeed, among the many problems of the collision theory of lunar formation, if the satellites in our solar system were formed by collisions, one would expect a decent gradation in their properties. However, the respective satellites of the gas giants Saturn and Jupiter are so different that it seems doubtful that they were formed in the same way and by the same body. It is certainly telling that the consensus story about the origins and behavior of asteroids and comets continues to be challenged by scientific discoveries.
The evidence simply does not support the idea that these bodies are billions of years old and date back to the very beginning of the solar system. But how many asteroid and cometary mysteries will be solved when scientists finally envision a current catastrophe in our solar system?
the way you can find asteroid numbers is either: a) look up the name of the asteroid on google, and search for its scientific number. then look at your chart and easily see the placements of your desired asteroids! .Hey guys! Welcome back to Lavendaire, I continue this series of fun self-discovery tools on my channel, so if you missed the first article I was talking about tarot cards and how to use them as a beginner because I'm a beginner, today I am super excited to be talking about astrology. Astrology is something that I've been dealing with for most of my life, literally since I was a kid, and it's not that I'm an expert on it or anything. But I was more into astrology and natal chart reading last year than I read Steven Forrest's book The Inner Sky.
I've learned a lot about reading the natal chart, a lot about astrology and the meaning of I know I know more about astrology than the average person. So this article is for the average person. If you are an expert there is no need to look at this.
But I just want to explain astrology more deeply than just your sun signs. So get ready for a fun article! First things first, let's clarify: astronomy is the scientific exploration of celestial bodies, so it is based on cts and research, and astrology is the interpretation of celestial bodies, that is, this is how we interpret what is on Heaven is. It's the poetry, it's the art.
But it's really cool that everything has a meaning and it's not exactly scientific, but it's more of an art. So what is a natal chart? Your astrological natal chart is basically a snapshot of the sky at the time and place where you were born, where in the world you were born and the exact time, it is the picture of what is in heaven. It is a kind of map of all the planets, the sun and the moon.
So it is very important to be precise about the exact time that you were born because every hour or two your natal chart changes because the sky moves - no, the earth moves - and so moves the snapshot of the sky were born if you can get your exact natal chart r side note: if you are chinese, i know there is a superstition in chinese culture, because of feng shui and all that stuff, never to give your date / time of birth to anyone out there. So I don't want to post my exact natal chart or anything. But it's because we believe that once someone knows your exact date and time of birth, they'll know a lot about your destiny and people can use it against you.
So this is something that I personally - because my mom influenced me - personally I would like to keep it a little bit more secret, so just let you guys know. So how do you get your natal chart read? There are many websites where you can enter this information. Café Astrology is one, Astro.com is another.
And there are also plenty of mobile apps that you can use to check your natal chart. My favorite astrology app is co-star. This one is very modern and chic and outlines your natal chart and all of the details in a very neat way.
So check out these - I'll link them below. Now let's talk about the original triad which is your sun, moon, and ascendant. Sometimes people also refer to the ascendant as their 'ascending' sign.
In general, these are the three most important signs on your natal chart. So you might see other people who are really interested in astrology, they will list all three signs because all three are important in listing more than just your sun sign. Your sun sign only depends on the day you were born what time of year you were.
I was born in October so I'm a Libra. BTW, I have this diary where I made a lot of notes from the astrology book I read so I can refer to it now and then. In general, your sun sign represents your ego, your personality, your self-image.
It's the core of who you are. Your moon sign represents your emotional self. Your moon is your sensitivity, your emotions, your feelings, your mood, your heart.
Sometimes people refer to their moon sign more than their sun sign because your moon is your emotional self and you feel more with that sign. And whatever sign you are in your moon, that is an indication of what makes you happy and what makes you feel fulfilled. Well, I'm a Sagittarius moon and Sagittarius is adventure and exploration, trying new things, and I can often really relate to that too.
Your ascending or 'ascending' sign is essentially your mask for the world. It's how other people perceive you. Think of it as a first impression.
Other people may see you in a certain way when they first meet you, and then when they get to know you they realize, 'Oh, you really are like a different kind of person.' So your ascendant is how you appear to be Other, and just so you know, my rising sign is Gemini. By the way, in order not to make this article too long, I am not going to go into the details of the meaning of each sign, planet, and all because there are tons of resources online about that.
I'm actually going to make simple notes for you to read on my blog post, just quick keywords and notes on each character, planet, or house. After receiving your natal chart, you can write down your sign, moon, and rising sign. And then you can take a look at the notes I made on my blog post and see what corresponds to each character.
One way to understand your original triad sign is to summarize it in a sentence like this: 'I am a __, with the soul of a __, wear the mask of a __' Depending on your sign, you will find the meaning and the archetype of your sign and just pocket the words. For example for me: I'm an artist with the soul of a philosopher wearing the mask of a teacher, that's because an artist is what a Libra is, the philosopher is an archetype of the Sagittarius moon and the teacher is one of the archetypes for a twin. I hope this made sense and I hope it helped.
So that was the basics. Ready to dive deeper? Let's go! Let's talk about the constituent parts of the natal chart. As I mentioned earlier, there are 12 signs, you've heard these before - Aries, Scorpio, Libra, Leo - all of these I know do not take them one after another.
And then there are ten planets, and after 'planets'
Centaurs are icy planetesimals located between Jupiter and Neptune. They cross the orbits of one or more of the giant planets in their journey around the Sun, and interactions with these outer planets cause the orbits of Centaurs to be inherently unstable.
Asteroids, Trojans, Centaurs, and Comets In 2007, Richard Firestone and 25 co-authors suggested that impacts or airbursts of one or more comet parts were responsible for the megafaunal extinction and the onset of a cooling phase. Some scientists have tried to determine the astronomical source of this comet to see if an associated meteor shower could cause a similar catastrophe in the future. This article examines some of the properties of asteroids and comets to get a perspective of Earth's heavenly surroundings.
Over the past decade, evidence has accumulated to support the hypothesis that one or more extraterrestrial impacts caused a catastrophe that led to extinction 12,900 years ago. led the megafauna in North and South America and the beginning of the younger dryas. The Atlantic coast is completely covered by Carolina Bays, which are the scars left by saturation bombardment from secondary impacts of glacial ice chunks ejected by the impact of a meteorite on the Laurentide Ice Sheet that covered North America during the Ice Age.
The Carolina Bays elliptical geometry is used to infer that these geological features emerged as conical cavities sloping about 35 degrees and turned into shallow elliptical depressions by viscous relaxation. The main cause of the megafaunal extinction and disappearance of the Clovis culture can be traced back to the saturation n bombardment from secondary impacts of glacier ice blocks that covered an area with a radius of 1,500 kilometers from the point of impact and an energy of 13 kilotons of TNT for Carolina Bays a diameter of 200 meters up to 3 megatons of TNT for bays with a diameter of one kilometer. The saturation bombardment wiped out large animals and people from the RockyMountains to the Atlantic coast.
The extinction event and its consequences are detailed in a separate article. We need to examine our solar system to understand what kind of cosmic object it could be the Younger Dryas -Caused disaster. Our solar system has four terrestrial planets and four gas giant planets.
The terrestrial planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. These planets have rocky surfaces and all of them have atmospheres except Mercury, which has a thin exosphere made up of atoms blasted from the surface by the solar wind. The gas giants Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune are further away from the sun.
In addition to these eight planets, there are many other objects in the solar system. The zodiacal cloud is a broad, flat cloud around the sun that spans the ecliptic plane. The particle sizes are between 10 and 300 micrometers, most with a mass of around 150 micrograms.
The zodiacal cloud is mostly made up of dust that is created by the decay of comets in the inner solar system. The zodiacal cloud, also known as the zodiacal light, is best observed at dawn or dusk as a faint, diffuse triangular white glow from the sunlight that is scattered by the interplanetary dust. The terrestrial planets and gas giants are separated by the asteroid belt, which contains millions of asteroids.
The outer planets are mostly made up of hydrogen and helium with small amounts of methane and ammonia, but the composition of their nuclei is not known. Jupiter is the largest planet and its enormous gravitational pull directly affects the organization of the asteroids. The asteroid belt is also known as the main asteroid belt to distinguish it from other asteroid populations in the solar system such as near-Earth asteroids and Trojan asteroids - the asteroids in the asteroid belt are closer to Mars than Jupiter.
About half the mass of the asteroid belt is contained in the four largest asteroids: Ceres, Vesta, Pallas, and Hygiea. Ceres is the largest asteroid with a diameter of 950 kilometers and about a third of the mass of all asteroids combined. Vesta, with a mean diameter of 525 kilometers, is the second most massive asteroid and contributes an estimated 9% to the mass of the asteroid belt.
The total mass of the asteroid belt is estimated to be around 4% of the mass of the Earth's moon. NASA's Dawn spacecraft was launched in 2007. It entered orbit around Vesta on July 16, 2011 and was the first spacecraft to orbit a body in the region between Mars and Jupiter.
Dawn left Vesta on September 5, 2012 en route to Ceres and entered Ceres orbit on March 6, 2015. Dawn's mission ended on November 1, 2018 when she ran out of fuel, but she will remain in orbit at Ceres for at least 50 years. Ceres is officially recognized as a dwarf planet because it orbits a star that is our sun, and it is massive enough to be compressed into a spherical shape by gravity, but it does not qualify as a full-fledged planet as it does not contain all of the material its orbit.
Asteroids are not evenly distributed within their disk structure. In 1866, Daniel Kirkwood noticed gaps associated with the orbital resonances with Jupiter. For example, there are almost no asteroids with a semi-major axis near 2.5 AstronomicalUnits that would make three orbits for each orbit of Jupiter, known as 3: 1 orbital resonance.
Other orbital resonances correspond to orbital periods whose lengths are simple fractions of Jupiter's orbit. The weaker resonances lead to exhaustion of the asteroids, while peaks in the histogram are often due to asteroid families that are related by their composition. The Kirkwood gaps of the asteroid belt have an analogue in the rings of Saturn.
The large gap between the A and B rings is known as the 'Cassini division'. A particle in the Cassini division would orbit Saturn twice if it orbited the moon Mimas once. This is a 2: 1 resonance path.
A particle in Cassini's division is pulled by gravity from Mimas to the same place in its orbit every time Mimas passes by. The gravitational wakes add up until the particle is pulled out of the Cassini department. The gravitational effect of the Saturn-Mimas system on Saturn's rings is similar to the gravitational effect of the Sun-Jupiter system on the asteroid belt.
The Lagrange points are named after Joseph-Louis Lagrange, who in 1772 published an 'essay on the three-body problem' where he described five points of gravitational equilibrium. Of the five Lagrangian points, L1, L2 and L3 are unstable, but points L4 and L5, which lie at the apex of two equilateral triangles between the two large bodies, are stable. The points L4 and L5 maintain their relative position because the Gravitational forces of the two large bodies in combination with the centrifugal force of the orbiting small bodies are balanced.
Trojan asteroids orbit the sun the same distance as Jupiter at L4 and L5 Lagrange points, about 60 degrees in front of or 60 degrees behind Jupiter. The Jupiter Trojans are divided into two groups: the Greek camp in front of Jupiter and the Trojan camp behind Jupiter. Hilda asteroids are in a 3: 2 resonance with Jupiter.
This allows them to travel in a somewhat triangular orbit as far as Jupiter without being scattered. All asteroids orbit the sun. Their relative movement around the Lagrangian points is called the libration.
The total number of Jupiter Trojans larger than 1 km in diameter is estimated to be around 1 million, which is roughly the number of asteroids in the asteroid belt that are larger than 1 km. Centaur asteroids orbit the sun between Jupiter and Neptune and cross the orbits of one or more of the giant planets. The centaurs are generally outside the Jupiter Trojans and inside the Kuiper Belt.
They are called centaurs because they resemble asteroids in size but resemble comets in composition. This duality is reminiscent of the half-human, half-horse creatures of Greek mythology. Centaurs have unstable orbits due to gravitational interactions and a dynamic lifespan of only a few million years.
The Kuiper Belt is outside of Neptune's orbit. It is similar to the asteroid belt, but is much larger, about 20 times as wide and up to 200 times more massive. The Kuiper Belt is a disk-like region of the solar system beyond the orbit of Neptune that contains many small bodies, mostly made up of. consist of ice that can become short-period comets that take less than 200 years to complete an orbit around the sun.
Pluto was once considered the ninth planet in the solar system, but in 2006 the International Astronomical Union demoted it to dwarf planet status after the discovery of other dwarf planets in the Kuiper Belt. Most of the objects in the Kuiper Belt are largely made up of frozen compounds such as methane, ammonia, and water. The Kuiper Belt has four officially recognized dwarf planets: Pluto, Haumea, Makemake, and Eris.
Haumea is one of the fastest rotating large objects in our solar system. Its fast spin is responsible for its egg shape. Caltech Professor Mike Brown discovered many trans-Neptunian objects using the Palomar Observatory Telescope.
Professor Brown's discoveries are responsible for the downgrading of Pluto to dwarf planet status. He teaches the science of the solar system in a free online course available through Coursera.org.
I attended this course in 2014 and I highly recommend it to anyone who is serious about learning about the solar system. The Oort Cloud is across the Kuiper Belt. It is an extensive shell of icy objects that exist in the farthest reaches of the solar system.
The Oort cloud is roughly spherical in shape and is believed to be the origin of most long-period comets, which take more than 200 years to complete an orbit around the sun. Comets are made up of rocks, dust, water ice, and frozen gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, and ammonia. Space probes like the Rosetta mission have provided a lot of information about the structure of comets and the conditions during the formation of the solar system.
When comets approach the sun on their highly elliptical orbits, the sun's heat evaporates some of the comet's material and releases dust particles trapped in the ice. The solar radiation pressure and the solar wind blow gas and dust out of the comet's core and form a tail that can stretch for many kilometers. Comet Schuhmacher-Levy 9 was discovered in 1993 after it was captured by Jupiter and orbited the planet.
Calculations showed that it broke apart in July 1992 during an earlier approach to Jupiter. The parts of the comet collided with Jupiter in July 1994, creating huge brown spots in the atmosphere, some of which were larger than Earth. These first-hand observations drew attention to the danger cosmic collisions pose to Earth.
A meteor shower is the result of an interaction between the earth's atmosphere and streams of debris from a comet. The Taurids are an annual meteor shower associated with Comet Encke. It is believed that Encke and the Taurids are the remains of a much larger comet that decayed over the past 20,000 to 30,000 years.
This is the largest meteor shower in the inner solar system and it takes several weeks for Earth to cross it. Some scientists have suggested that the Tunguska event in Siberia and the more recent Dryas event may have been caused by impacts of comet fragments from this meteor shower. The office promotes studies of technologies and techniques for deflecting asteroids that are on a collision course with Earth.
What's next? It has become very clear that 12,900 years ago an alien impact caused a worldwide catastrophe that set human civilization back. We live in a cosmic shooting range and have limited opportunities to track down and deflect comets or asteroids. I wonder if the nations that have the ability to reach outer space would pool their resources to protect humanity from an impending cosmic disaster, or if inaction through divisive nationalist policies would bring our species to extinction.
More than 150 asteroids are known to have a small companion moon (some have two moons). There are also binary (double) asteroids, in which two rocky bodies of roughly equal size orbit each other, as well as triple asteroid systems.
Scorpio (??) is the eighth astrological sign in the Zodiac, originating from the constellation of Scorpius. It spans 210240 ecliptic longitude. Under the tropical zodiac (most commonly used in Western astrology), the Sun transits this sign on average from October 23 to November 22.
Chariklo is the first body after the giant planets found to have a ring system. Astronomers have discovered rings around an asteroid-like body whose orbit is between those of Saturn and Uranus. .
In our astrological study, the planets get plenty of attention. Though they might not be on every astrological enthusiast's mind, asteroids play an important role in determining the more granular aspects of our personalities. .
Pholus, in particular, is the driving force behind the consequences of your actions. It's a symbol of the turning points in your life. If you wish to have a better grip on your life decisions and their impact, understanding Pholus astrology is paramount. .
Eris is the feminine equivalent of Mars; it is the goddess of war. As the sister of Mars, it represents the feminine side of aggression, of war, of assertiveness, of anger, and of moving out into the world.
Comet and asteroid SPK files may be generated using our HORIZONS system. Planetary ephemerides are available using JPL's HORIZONS system. Although the HORIZONS system will be sufficient for the vast majority of ephemeris requests, JPL planetary and lunar ephemeris files (e.g. DE406) are also available.
Input must be Universal Time. Dates before are treated as Julian Calendar. There's a latitude/longitude lookup on astro.com here. A bit slow; helps in identifying asteroids that may be important for a particular chart, which you can then specify as Additional Objects.
Asteroid Ephemeris for 2021 The following ephemerides are for selected asteroids: Eros, Psyche, Sappho, Ceres, Pallas, Juno, Vesta, and Chiron. Ceres is a dwarf planet and rules food, agriculture, transitions in a female’s life, nurturing, motherhood, and family relationships.
