OK. I'll try to squeeze out another article this afternoon. The light is getting really challenging.
But today I wanted to make a second article on Astrology 2021. The first article in this series is in the square between Jupiter in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus, but that will only take place between January 7th and 27th, and exactly on January 18th. ? Most of the year is actually shaped by the Saturn square Uranus.
Saturn will be retrograde in October, mid-October. So basically we're going to get three opportunities for exact squares between Saturn and Uranus. So let me just come back and talk about Saturn in Aquarius, and let me start all over again on December 21, 2020 when we had the Great conjunction between Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius. - Well, a major conjunction is basically this conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn.
It happens every 20 years. But what's special about this one is that even though it was in Libra a few cycles ago, basically the big move into the Air Signs this time was when it happened in Aquarius. And 'so this signals that out there to be discovered. 'The truth is out there.' The world is a fixed place.
It's underground. It's something we can know about. We can master it, and it's just solid and essentially persists.
But what we learn or have to learn in the context of the Air Trigon is that our own mind makes a great contribution. Even science - neuroscience, to some extent physics - is learning this - and again, some cultures have always known it - but the idea is that the way we think is actually influencing what can manifest what manifests. This is not a direct causal relationship, but there is shaping that takes place on an archetypal level through the medium of our mind, and so the way we think can shape and shape reality.
So that was the fundamental boost of what begins in December for the next 240 years or so. I'm sorry about that. And now we're getting lessons this year between Uranus in Taurus and Saturn in Aquarius.
Now Aquarius is ruled by Uranus. Aquarius is basically the sign of the divine spark that is identical in each of us. Not only every single person but every thing basically has a core identity in the divine.
It's one. Well, how do we put that when we assume an incarnation or have an intention - that is Uranus, and that is done through a form - that is Saturn. And you can essentially say this form and one for your entire incarnation.
Saturn is your whole horoscope. It's basically the form you have. It is what you are and what you are not.
It is your limits. It is your natural limits in the ideal world. Now, with Saturn in Aquarius, it basically gives you an opportunity to align your way of life, your way of life, with your true law.
This will help you balance your intention, your original intention, and your way of life. So things that you can do and get away with will not be the same as others. It's like we're more like ...
I mean, there are basic, good moral codes - you know, don't kill people, you know, things that are basically universal, but now we're challenged to refine that. '. the individual level to say what I have to do and what not in order to actually be successful, to manifest and make practical, and to give body and form to my core intention for this incarnation.
Now with the square between Saturn and Uranus, which is essentially Taurus this whole year so let me tell you the time periods, and I need to look at the notes.
The first starts on January 28th, so it takes place exactly at the full moon. January 28th - essentially until March 23rd, and it will be exactly on February 18th. So it's January.
Let me just give you the periods. So we had January 28th to March 23rd, then a little break and then May 14th to July 8th, so all spring and summer, and then a longer break, and that is the time when Saturn is retrograde The last time the square between Saturn and Uranus will take place in Taurus is December 8th to January 9th, 2022. So there will be a time in the fall when it won't be in operation, but it will be a theme for the whole year.
With the square of Uranus - Uranus rules surprising and shocking events, so these events in Taurus will happen through the physical world, through your body, through your physical surroundings, so they often take the form of ordinary events. Remember what I said about moving to the Air Trigon. So you know we have a tendency to assume that, 'Ah, bad luck!' You know, or 'good luck!' They just know, 'Things just happen in the world.
They have nothing to do with me and I either like them or I don't like them. ' But you don't think about things like that anymore - if it ever was, then certainly not anymore. Because the pressure now is to understand that if bad luck happens or things explode in your face - generally before that square with Uranus in Taurus - you will learn about your law, which is a sign that you are yours Boundaries have to adjust somehow So it is as if you either allow others to intrude on you and impose forms and restrictions on you that are not appropriate, or you are doing it yourself, or you are disregarding a certain form or discipline that you should be - why? - just because you are like that.
It is the form you took in this incarnation and you are here to discover it, remember your intention, and then actually do it. And that's just your role in the universal choir. You just know that the world needs you to do your thing, to be yourself and to realize your unique self.
Saturn is essentially focused on what structure to take on and what structures to shed in order to create the container in which to do your will, which more is shown by Jupiter. The actual extension of this order is Jupiter. And the legal part, the restriction, is Saturn.
So if you have. say, just like between January 28th and March 23rd. When you have that square between Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus, you will see surprising, shocking events telling you directly about your structure and what to do to refine it and become more authentic about your law.
Following someone else's code may no longer be good enough. Also, you may have to be stricter than average. I wouldn't know; you have to see that for yourself.
Of course, you can consult with me, but in general you will have to find out for yourself. That's really what this year is all about, and the square is a tough angle so it can be very difficult. Unfortunately, these can be difficult lessons.
You don't have to be. I mean, the more you surrender to saying, 'Yeah, just let me do what I came here for' ...
I don't know your particular religion. You can pray, you can meditate, you can ask your angel ...
Whatever language is suitable for you, use it to say: What do I have to let go of and what do I have to take over in terms of structure in order for this to happen for me to leave to basically be in tune with the seed you planted - 'that I planted'? So Uranus is that seed. Everything grows from it. But how do you give him the-. - In this case, do we say, because we are talking about Saturn - protection from the cold? How can you give it a shell? How do you delimit it? How do you sort out the things that are choking him? ? So that's up to you as a gardener.
So you have to somehow remind yourself, 'Well what was it ...' or to ask, 'What did I plant? What do I need? What structure does this plant (which is my life) need to thrive? ' So that will be the topic, and again the dates were from January 28th to March 23rd.
Then Saturn goes retrograde where these lessons are particularly internal. So there could be more internal forms of restriction / laws illustrated that are shown to you by Uranus in Taurus from May 14th to July 8th. So in spring and summer it will maybe be more inside - hopefully not your demons - let's just put it this way: maybe a lot more meditation to really look inside.
And then again from December 8th to January 9th. Saturn will be in direct motion again, and you know, so this is your third and last opportunity, I guess, to refine and realize your law, your discipline, to really accept and accept that without restriction, without law, nothing can arise. You know, everything would be just an amorphous soup basically if there weren't any separations, if there weren't any differences between people and things.
There would be no manifestation. Basically there is no world. Period.
So the intent is to be as authentic as possible for who you are, your limits, and that is what allows you to manifest. That way, you can use your Jupiter to expand, pursue your dreams, achieve your intentions, and help the world in ways that only you can.
2021's most powerful aspect, a Saturn-Uranus square, happens three times in 2021. It came into orb, which means close enough to be impactful, on 11/23/20. It will last for 26 months, thru 1/24/23. .
Retrograde Saturn square Uranus: Tradition and Progress
The first exact square between Saturn and Uranus took place on February 17, and the last exact one will be on December 24. .
Hi everyone and welcome back to another aspect of the week article. This week, the week starting May 17th, there will actually be two articles, and this is the second one that deals with various aspects that are happening this week. So this second aspect that I want to focus on this week was a bit juicy, and I couldn't resist adding it.
This is the sun in the twin square Jupiter in Pisces. So this aspect will be on Friday May 21st, maybe May 22nd, depending on where you are. uh The aspect happens with the sun at zero degrees Gemini, shortly after the sun has passed into the sign of Gemini and the twin season has started and Jupiter is still at zero degrees Pisces.
So it happens shortly after Jupiter enters Pisces, and one reason I wanted to single out this aspect is that it is the first time that another planet has interacted with Jupiter in Pisces. So this is going to show us something, maybe reveal something, or give us a glimpse into the longer Jupiter-in-Pisces trend. So let's start with the aspect itself, solar square Jupiter.
This is one aspect of stretching things, going beyond their limits, do we go beyond a limit and get to the place of growth and magical advancement, or do we go beyond a limit to a place where we break or could break? . That's the million dollar question. I tend to think that it's like that uncomfortable stretching that comes with growing, maybe ascending too, and that has to do with the fact that Jupiter, in one of its native Pisces, is in as good a condition as it is this aspect forms.
Nonetheless, it could be viewed as a positive aspect and an aspect with a little friction for a number of reasons. The positive combination comes from the fact that the Sun and Jupiter are contracting in one aspect. The sun and Jupiter are known together as, um, there are so many great things to be said about these two planets.
Marsilio Ficino, an astrologer from the Middle Ages, uh, Renaissance, I should say magician, you know, just an all-round mystical guy, talked about the three graces in astrology. The three types of life-giving or life-affirming planets, as the sun, Jupiter and Venus. Every time we see the Sun and Jupiter together, I feel like something is really enlivening, or amplified, or improved, which in some way is affirming or growing or encouraging.
The sun and Jupiter together have this really strong quality of self-confidence, or self-confidence, as I can. Why shouldn't I try this? They know that it is not necessarily obsessed with performance, but it really focuses on experiences that are new or perhaps could lead to fulfillment, or certainly the idea of trying something to broaden and broaden your experience. Sun square Jupiter, although it's a square aspect I think it has some really good properties, but it is in the nature of the square aspect to bring in a little of that tension or friction.
And these two planets are in their current signs right now, the sun has just come to Gemini in the last 24 hours, and Jupiter has only been in Pisces for a week. So they are both trying to figure out the state of the country based on their location and now they have to deal with pressure from someone with different priorities or a different set, a different agenda. So the friction or tension here could be related to competing plans, dreams, or priorities.
It could also be about the tension between facts, information, and data that the Sun represents in Gemini versus wanting to follow a feeling or actually pursuing a dream or vision, which would be very beneficial to Jupiter in Pisces. Every time we have a quadratic aspect we need some adjustment or some kind of interaction and adjustment between the two planets. In our aspect work there are different kinds of rules or theories that govern how two planets connect and interact, and in this particular type of aspect with Jupiter in Pisces and the Sun in Gemini, Jupiter becomes what is known as an overwhelming influence on them. have sun in Gemini.
And that's a technical term that basically means that Jupiter will have a dominant or overwhelming influence that the sun is more likely to take over what Jupiter in Pisces is about in that particular configuration of planets. So Jupiter in Pisces somehow has the upper hand here and will start to impress this sun in Gemini with this idea that the data and information are great, but only if they serve a greater purpose, only if they bring you closer to a satisfying one Dream or a satisfying vision, or just when it helps you to contribute or help others in any way. These are all things that Jupiter is very focused on in Pisces.
With regard to Friday, May 21st, when this aspect takes place, some things can happen. You may be so confident that you are ready to take a leap of faith or overwhelm yourself in a potentially risky situation, but are curious enough or interested enough that the risk is worth it. And I think that's one of the things that this particular aspect of Sun Jupiter boils down to, that even if you don't get the result you originally intended to take, it's probably worth the risk.
There is something really valuable to experience or someone to interact with and get in touch with. So, when you step out of your comfort zone and try something that is a little different, maybe unknown to you, this is a great way to harness that energy. It's like supporting yourself and trying a curious kind of experimental mindset just to see where the yes-word takes you.
So saying yes is a great strategy. The warning from the Sun Squared Jupiter is that we may overestimate our abilities and you know that there is a lot of times in business or in life that it is said that you should sign and deliver promises. This type of Sun Square Jupiter aspect is actually more about over-promising and over-delivering, and this is an exaggeration, if you commit too much, you take in too much and then you get into it and you are like that Like that just won't happen or it's just not realistic.
The Sun Square Jupiter in Changeable Signs There is definitely a multitasking skill or talent here, and for some of us we are going to over-promise or overestimate our ability to say too many things and then we just have this insanely busy 24-36 Hours where we really strive to do all of the things. So some of us could be really productive because we overwhelmed ourselves. Others of us are going to have a little breakdown where it's like I've just taken too much on myself and can't do everything.
The sun is in Gemini, so communication will really be crucial here, if you get snowed under, overwhelmed, if there is too much on your plate, tell someone. This is a very changeable square, the Sun in Gemini, Jupiter in Pisces, two of our four changeable signs, so things can be bent. We can adapt, we can change, we are not locked in like planets in fixed signs that form a square could be.
So if you find that you have promised too much or that you cannot deliver what you promised, just talk about it. It may or may not fix things, but it will take some of that tension off and stop the internal turmoil. So this is a pretty deep dive into the Sun Square Jupiter aspect of May 21st but hopefully it will help you navigate this last part of the week with this very full, Sun Jupiter as I just want more, I want, taste everything, or do all the courses, or get in contact with all the people, and so the enthusiasm is very admirable.
But in reality it's a bit hard to work with, so maybe just use some of our free will to sharpen our plans, and you already know, plans to something that's bite-sized enough that it can be, we can be full or satisfied. instead of just gluttony. What is one of the downsides of Jupiter, I guess.
So this is Jupiter's square of the sun. If you'd like more information about Jupiter and Pisces, I recently hosted an in-depth 90-minute webinar on Jupiter and Pisces entitled 'Dreaming the Future'. It gives you a mix of the technical information about Jupiter in Pisces, some of the mythological stories and meanings about Jupiter in Pisces, and some really practical tips on how to work with this cycle depending on where it's going and when it's going to be happening and how that could affect you.

The natal Sun Uranus square suggests a rebellious and complex personality, someone who is often thinking differently from the crowd. Uranus is about activism for change, original expression, new inventions and unconventional ideas. .
In ancient times, people studied the night sky and discovered the worlds of Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. But beyond this realm of knowledge, another world shone brightly, just waiting to be discovered. Uranus is the sun's seventh planet from a distance of about 20 astronomical units, or 20 times the distance between the earth and the sun.
Uranus orbits the star once every 84 earth years, roughly the length of a person's entire life. This orbit makes each season of Uranus last that much longer. In theory, a person living on Uranus would only experience the four seasons once, but each for about 21 years.
Uranus has the coldest temperatures in the solar system, partly because of its distance from the sun. These freezing temperatures, which drop to minus 370 degrees Fahrenheit, are largely influenced by the makeup of the planet. Uranus is about four earths wide and has an earth-sized core of iron and magnesium silicate.
The rest, about 80% of Uranus, is a global ocean of ice made up of water, ammonia, and methane, the chemical behind the planet's cool blue color. This icy composition prevents Uranus from emitting a lot of heat compared to other planets, making the blue world the coldest in the solar system. In addition to the extreme temperatures and orbit, Uranus has a dramatic orientation.
While the other seven planets revolve around their axes like tops, Uranus appears to be rolling along its equator. The planet is tilted at an almost right angle with the polar regions pointing towards and away from the Sun rather than up and down; this tilt, which is believed to be the result of Uranus' collision with at least one celestial body, also influenced the alignment of Uranus' 13 rings and 27 known moons. In contrast to the rings and moons of other worlds, which orbit their home planets horizontally, those of Uranus in a vertical orientation along the inclined equator of the planet, similar to a ferris wheel.
Uranus and its many unusual features were a mystery to the ancients, and the planet was actually ly thought to be a star. But in the late 18th century, the astronomer William Herschel discovered that the celestial object was indeed a new world. The scientific community debated what the planet should be called and eventually chose a name suggested by astronomer Johann Elert Bode.
Bode believed that since Jupiter was the father of gods and Saturn was the father of Jupiter, this new planet should be the father of Saturn, Caelus. But instead of following the tradition of using names from the ancient Roman religion, Bode opted for Caelus's ancient Greek equivalent, Ouranos, instead. Ouranos, the ancient Greek god of the sky, was then Latinized to Uranus.
To date, Uranus is the only planet deviating from tradition with an ancient Greek namesake, a status best suited for a planet beyond convention.
The Saturn trine Uranus in birth charts is bringing about harmony between unpredictability and stability. People born during the Saturn trine Uranus aspect can use tradition and earn respect for their innovative ideas without making too many waves. .
When the Moon is in a square position from Saturn, people are starting to feel restricted and more depressed about their personal relationships. During this period, many may find it difficult to interact with others profoundly because they'd be feeling sad, lonely and guilty of things they haven't done. .
Uranus' environment is not conducive to life as we know it. The temperatures, pressures and materials that characterize this planet are most likely too extreme and volatile for organisms to adapt to. .
The Saturn Return is when the planet Saturn comes back to meet your natal Saturn. It takes about 29.5 years for this slow-mover to return to where it was when you were born. The Saturn return hits in the late 20s and its impact is felt into the early 30s.31 2019 .
Moon trine Saturn natal gives emotional maturity, patience, and steady emotions. Your serious emotions may come from taking on extra responsibility at home when growing up. This aspect indicates loyalty to and from your family, respect for women and good self-discipline. .
The Sun square The Ascendant indicates that when you express yourself you unknowingly cause others to react negatively. You tend to get off on the wrong foot because you have trouble convincing people that you are sincere and honest. .
